The Saddlery is one of my go-to spots whenever I'm downtown and looking for a bite to eat. The restaurant is very spacious and has a great atmosphere. The brussel sprouts are fantastic, probably my favourite in the city (so far)! You also cannot go wrong with those bison nachos. The lamb burger was a little dry for my liking but the bison mac burger is great (albeit super messy). It's always hard to decide what to order!

I liked this place. It was not super busy when I visited but still quite a few folks. The staff were very nice and the food was good. The decor was kinda neat. It is literally located in an old saddle factory. So the place has a bit of that old factory vibe. The decor was tasteful and a bit understated. I definitely would go again.

We had our wedding here and we had the best time!! I would give it a 4.7/5! It was a beautiful venue for the wedding. It was absolutely gorgeous! The food was delicious. A lot of people told us it was some of their favourite wedding food they’ve ever had. They do a great job with helping set up and they took everything down the night of. They accepted my cake delivery and set that up for me. I also just love how the venue looks with the exposed brick and the hardwood floors. I also think it was reasonably priced and have no issues with what we were charged. I think everything was very fair! A couple points I’d make - there are a lot of pillars in the venue which do impact your guests viewing. Nothing can be done about this as it’s structural. But it is something to consider about the venue. - the speaker system is not great for speeches. So unfortunately it’s harder to hear for the guests in the back. - the food was delicious! We also did the taco bar for a midnight snack and literally everyone was raving about them! For dinner we had pork tenderloin or red pepper Asiago chicken - Roula the manager overall was good. She got the job done and worked with us to make our perfect night. She was easy going about a lot of things and really I have no complaints as the day went off perfect. But she is not great at communicating, and she will be the first to tell you that. So as long as you know it will take time for her to reply, then you will be good. When it came closer too I would text her if I had any questions which needed to be answered in a timely manner. Roula is not there to hold your hand through this process lol so ensure you compile your list of questions and ideas, send her big long emails and know what you want to discuss when you see her. She appreciates a prepared bride and groom. But I sent lots of big emails and she did get back to me with answers. -I also recommend giving your credit card at the beginning of the night so you are not looking for it at the end when it comes time to pay. - looking at other venues the saddlery is the best priced, again I thought all prices were very fair at the venue. - my wedding had 130 people and it fit perfectly. I think anything over 150 would feel tight! - I had my family go in before to set up my decor but the saddlery would set up for you if you preferred this I would 100% recommend having your wedding at the saddlery! It was an awesome venue and we had the best time. It was so beautiful and I have no regrets!

Absolutely amazing food!! Atmosphere was great, service was okay the night we went in they were definitely under staffed. So we waited about 2 hours for our food.

It was our wedding venue earlier this month and it was extraordinary. The space looks beautiful, the staff was great, and the food was delicious (people are still complimenting the food). Special mention to Roula, who was so helpful with us and our planners and helped turn our vision into reality. And the whole time she was cool as a cucumber, which is VERY helpful on a day that's already stressful enough!! Any of their strengths would be enough on their own to recommend it (food, ambiance, helpful staff and management), but all these things together make it a fantastic venue for any special event. I'm so grateful!

Thank you to the team at Saddlery on Market for accommodating our large group for lunch today. We appreciated the attention to our reservation and order from the GM, Roula, and the friendly and efficient table service from Brett. Our meals were served hot and fresh and everyone enjoyed their meals. This team went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable and we will definitely be back!
